invites you to join us for

Once Upon a Time at St. David’s!

Children ages 18 months (as of June 1st and independently walking) through 6 years old are invited to explore the magical world of fairy tales! Each week will be centered on a different fairy tale. Learning fairy tales in preschool is a wonderful way to spark children's imagination, creativity, and understanding of the world. Fairy tales encourage learning in many ways including enhancing problem-solving skills, social skills and cooperative/collaborative learning styles. We will incorporate literacy, science, movement, and play into our weekly activities! It will be a messy, active, and most importantly, fun summer!

ENROLLMENT OPTIONS & TUITION RATES

Half Day | 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. | Monday-Friday | $200.00 per week

Full Day | 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. | Monday-Friday | $350.00 per week

After School Care | 2:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. | Monday-Friday | $150.00 per week

DAILY SCHEDULE

Each morning begins with chapel, followed by a themed lesson, centers, outside play, specials (motor movement, music, and Spanish), and snack. Full Day includes lunch, nap/rest time, outside play and centers.

REGISTRATION

CLICK HERE to register! Once you've submitted the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email* and Brightwheel Billing will update with your summer tuition balance. Payments can be made through Brightwheel Billing by connecting your credit card or bank account. You can also mail in a check to the office with the memo: Summer at St. David’s. *Please note: confirmation emails and billing will not be sent automatically, so do not expect to receive an email immediately after submitting registration.

AFTER SCHOOL CARE

After School Care (2:30 – 5:30) is provided by Be A Champion, Inc. To complete your child’s registration for After School Care, you must create a profile for him/her with Be A Champion by following this link and select summer as the desired program. If your child already has a profile set up, you need to update your information and register for summer by clicking on the Returning Parent link.

Cathy Cummins’ Early Bird Reading

at St. David’s Episcopal School

St. David's Episcopal School is proud to once again offer Cathy Cummins’ Early Bird Reading, a program that fosters a lifelong love of learning and a strong literacy foundation, for children ages 4-7 this summer!

Founded by Cathy Cummins over 36 years ago, this program has benefited over 20,000 students and counting. The curriculum blends Orton-based phonics with controlled vocabulary readers, covering oral language, rhyming patterns, and 71 phonograms. Activities include word games, manuscript writing, and phonogram-related art projects to reinforce learning and fine motor skills.

Students work on phonics projects while reading aloud individually and take home readers to progress through levels. Group exercises are also a big part of the fun while advanced students join the Comprehension Circle for deeper reading analysis.

This summer, Michele and Ashlie will hold class in two-week sessions. Class is offered in the morning (9:00-11:30) or afternoon (12:30-3:00). Children registered for Summer at St. David’s in the morning and Early Bird Reading Sessions 1, 2 or 3 in the afternoon may also take advantage of EBR Lunch Bunch. With EBR Lunch Bunch, your child will stay in the Summer at St. David’s classroom for lunch and then be picked up by EBR staff for their afternoon class. The cost of Lunch Bunch is $100 per session and will be added to your Summer at St. David’s invoice. (Lunch Bunch is not available Session 4).
