We are so excited to be able to offer a fun filled educational experience for children ages 18 months (and independently walking) through 6 years of age (as of June 1st).

We will offer early care from 7:30-8:30 a.m. and after care 2:30-5:30 p.m.  The 18-24 month children extending the day until 2:30 will have lunch and a nap followed by centers.  The 3-6 year olds will have lunch, a rest period, and an afternoon enrichment activity such as sports, art, music, or Spanish.

Every morning we will begin with a Bible lesson and the day will include an educational thematic lesson, centers, outside play time, and snack!

Our theme for this summer is “My World and Beyond”.

Week 1 June 3-7: All about Me and My Family- stories, songs, and hands on activities will be focused on helping students learn more about themselves and their families.  Examples of activities include: making a class graph to see how big their families are, learning their classmates’ names and clapping the syllables, and learning about how we are all created by God and unique.

Week 2 June 10-14: All about My Community- this week we learn about community helpers such as police and firemen/women, postal workers, and all of the people it takes to make our neighborhoods work!  We will build and create model neighborhoods, practice learning their addresses, and set up a mini mail system!

Week 5 July 15-19: All about my Country- “It’s the land of the free and home of the brave” and this week we celebrate our amazing country learning our landmarks, state capitols, national symbols and an age appropriate lesson of our branches of government.

Week 6 July 22-26: All about my Continent- there’s so much to learn about our neighboring countries that make up our North American continent.  This week we will focus on Mexico and Canada- we will study their culture, traditions and holidays such as Cinco de Mayo, Las Posadas and Canada Day!  It will be a fun filled week of songs, games, and learning!

Week 7 July 29-August 2: All about my Planet- this week we celebrate God’s creation of this beautiful Earth!  Our focus will be on our world map- oceans and continents- and how we can work together to help take care of our planet!  Activities include planting seeds, identifying elements of a world map, and learning the ins and outs of recycling!

Week 8 August 5-9: Blast off to Outer Space- we wrap up our summer with a week of space travel!  Children will imagine they are astronauts and travel through the solar system!  We will sing songs to help learn the names of the planets, experiment with galaxy slime and compare/contrast life on Earth vs. the moon!
